A Century of Children - Simon Mainwaring.

This excellent book, with a foreword by Lady Holden, grand-daughter of Dr Graham, is the story of the first hundred years of Dr Graham's Homes. It serves as a record of the dedicated work for the welfare and the education of the children but is also an inspiration for the future work of the Homes. 

  Simon Mainwaring joined the teaching staff of Dr Graham's Homes in 1997, following two previous spells as a volunteer in 1993 and 1995. As well as teaching English language and literature in the school, he was the school choir-master and was involved in a number of extra-curricular activities. The 1997 School Choir Tour to the UK was Simon's idea. He left the school in 2000 to take up a place at Theological College in the UK. Simon is currently the Rector at St. Andrew's by-the-Sea Episcopal Church, Pacific Beach, USA.
