The UK Sponsorship Scheme aims to give financial support to deprived, and often destitute, children, mainly Anglo Indian, from Kolkata and other parts of West Bengal, to enable them to have a good education in a healthy and happy environment. Each year about 40 children are taken into the care of Dr Graham's Homes. Some have parents, some not necessarily both, some have none at all, but all are in great need. Children are taken as young as a few weeks old, others of school age, and most will stay until they are in their late teens when their education is completed.

Unlike many of the large Charities financially supporting children, this is a particularly personal one. Sponsors are encouraged to correspond with the children. All letters, cards and correspondence received, are acknowledged by the children through the Homes Sponsor Office. Each Christmas, sponsors receive a Christmas Card, an up to date photograph and their annual school report.

At present, the annual cost of educating, clothing and boarding a child is £920.00 per annum(equates to £60 +Gift Aid). You can fully sponsor or share in a sponsorship. Whatever amount you decide to give, you will be helping a child in a personal and practical way.

Donations can be paid annually, quarterly or monthly, by direct subscription or Gift Aid whichever is convenient to the sponsor.

There are few Institutions founded more than a century ago that still maintain the ideals and objects for which they were founded. Dr Graham's Homes is one such, and we are indebted to many people in the UK for their continued interest and support. Your support will enable a child to have a better quality of life.
