Alternatively, under Events / India Holidays you will find details of our next fully escorted “Friends & Supporters” tour to the Homes.
You can email Col. Golgoi directly at the address above or contact Alistair McCabe in London for advice on firstname.lastname@example.org.
Ahava is a Hebrew name for one of the rivers of Babylon and brings thoughts of peace and love. The Guest House is situated at a height of 4,500ft and when the weather is fair has wonderful views on to Mt. Kanchenjunga and the rest of the magnificent snowy range separating independent Sikkim and Western Bhutan from Tibet, with the intervening maze of ridges and deep forests. The river Teesta flows past nearly 4000ft below. To the west, the lookout is up the Rungeet River to the Napal frontier, Darjeeling and the Senchal Spur. To the south there is a glimpse of the plains to be had over the Relli Valley with its richly cultivated slopes. All in all a wonderfully scenic location.
